Good afternoon!
It is my great honor to be a part of this week long seminar on Enhancement and Expansion of Capability in Information Technology and English. I would like to share to you some of my impressions of this seminar.
The seminar was very well organized in terms of structure, timeframes and contents. From the start to the end, it went smoothly. The daily programmes proceeded as planned in the schedule. The length of the seminar was just right--neither too short, nor too long. Most of its contents were precisely relevant to the topic of the seminar.
This seminar had been a great forum for learning about the integration of IT in our teaching ventures. As a teacher I’ve gained exposure to a number of technical terms and new trends with regards to Information Technology and its role in the present educative process. The seminar presented the vast world of the World Wide Web and the internet that totally changed my perspective as an internet savvy. It opened up my mind that change is really inevitable, sooner or later we teachers have to accept these changes in information technology and its role in education and make good use of it.
The speakers were excellent with great experience and diverse knowledge in their assigned topics. They were able to make a rather dry topic almost fun yet not water down the content which keeps the participants awake and alive. The best aspect of this seminar was the speakers' genuine concern for the participants' success in understanding the topics. They were able to adapt to the requirements and queries of the participants despite the broad difference in their background.
At this point I would like to take this opportunity to express my profound thanks to the Speakers and the people behind this seminar for giving me this opportunity to broaden my horizons. In behalf of the other participants, rest assured that unlike our facebook status that will continuously change or vary and may soon be forgotten, the learning that we acquired from this seminar will stay in our hearts and minds forever. Kudos for a job well done.
