IT Impression (Batch 3)

Last September 19, 2011 around 7:35 am my principal ask me that I will going to attend the EXCITE Seminar in URS Morong text by our District Supervisor, and she told me that the seminar will start at 8:00 am in the morning. Nagmadali ako pag alis ng school namin kasi ayaw ko naman na malate ako sa seminar. When I arrived at URS Campus, I don’t know what building where I go. I ask one of the Professor at itinuro niya kung saang building. Nung nasa harap na ako ng building sabi ko naku late na ako naka sarado na ang door tapos I read the note post on the door.  Please wait, someone shall open the door  for you. Naghintay  naman ako. After 5 minutes wala pa rin akong tao na nakikita sa loob. Sabi ko paano yan, buti na lang hindi ako mahiyain magtanong, I ask somebody asan po yung nagseseminar ng EXCITE sabi sa akin nasa function hall daw. Then  I go to function  hall and the girl on the registration ask me, saan po ba kayo aatend  ng  seminar sabi ko sa Basic IT. Then hinanap niya name ko eh wala naman dun sa list of participant. Sabi nila wait lang po. Buti na lang may 3 slot pa sa Basic IT ng Division of Rizal kaya nagsign na ako dun.  Akala ko hindi na ako makakaattend ng EXCITE Seminar.

                When I enter the room there is a vacant computer at front seat, so the lecturer Sir Rommel told me to seat there. At first I feel nervous because I’m in front sit and I was not familiar in manipulating the computer.  But Sir Rommel told us don’t worry I will teach you the Basic IT. He gave us the  meaning of   computer, characteristic and limitations. Then he teach us the Lesson 1 – Introduction  to Windows Environment, Lesson 2 -  Starting Microsoft Word 2007, how to enter the data  and  how to save it.  The first day for me was full of mixed feelings because at first I feel nervous, then afterwards I feel enjoyment while learning on how to  manipulate the computer, same feeling on   the second day, third day of the EXCITE Seminar at mas lalong matutuwa ang lahat kapag makakatapos at makakadiscover kami ng ibat ibang features pa sa computer na bago pa  lang naman na encounter at talagang pumapalakpak pa  kami sa tuwa. In the third day  afternoon a new lecturer will teach us the Microsoft office Powerpoint 2007 in the name of Mrs. Grace San Juan  a Dean of URS Binangonan Information Management Department. She teach us on how  to make a presentation  using the Microsoft office power point 2007.   The fourth and the last day was very fruitful one because we apply what we learn in making a powerpoint presentation. 

                

       The fifth day seminar of EXCITE was so excellent. Why? Because we enjoy, we relax,  and we learned  what’s in, what’s new and what is the latest in our modern technology that we can apply  on our daily teaching learning process in our respective  schools. To all the people behind the seminar all we can say is THANK YOU so much and may Lord God continue to bless you  a   good health to teach other  people who need this  kind of  knowledge.
