IT Impression (Batch 8)

A pleasant afternoon to all, the organizer’s behind this training, lecturers, and fellow trainess.
Let me open this impression with how I opened my very first blog.
“Lyle, I submitted your name for the seminar next week.”
                                                                   -charlz
That was delivered at the time I was trying to finish the writing task given to me so I was very reluctant.  Good thing I wasn’t given the option to refuse.
Five days in the ExCITE training has been very fruitful with free foods, a bag, a t-shirt, and 1:1 computer to teacher ratio to boast.
So far, the training/seminar that I attended without me waiting for the time to go home.
Microsoft excel may be related in a way with Math, now this adds to the things that has to do with numbers I find easy.  Thanks to Sir Fernan who has been very patient with our group.  As I have written in my blog, hindi na ko kakainin ng Microsoft excel. We actually enjoyed doing the ten activities in Microsoft excel. Amazed by what the program can do by just entering a formula and dragging auto-fill. Ayan Sir Fernan may natutunan ako ha! After how many years teacher ko uli kayo. Sir Fernan was my IT (subject) professor in college.
The second part of the training was something I was personally excited to learn, blogging.  For from what I have been hearing, people use blog to express a piece of their mind through writing it online.  I couldn’t remember the last time that I wrote other than technical writing.  This training provided an opportunity to discover an avenue for self-expression.  To our lecturer, Sir Neil, thank you for guiding us into the world of blogging step by step, teacher ko na kayo ngayon.
We also would like to thank our IT assistant, the beautiful Ms. Sidney for never losing her energy in assisting us.
Five days spent here at ExCitE training has been fruitful, engaging, and somehow relaxing.  With this let us all give the persons behind this activity and ourselves an angel clap.
Good afternoon and God bless us all.

Attending this kind of training seminar is such an honor and privilege for us teachers. We all know that many of us have been in teaching profession for quite some time. But it doesn’t mean that we already know everything. We still need to be updated with the changes in the yield of teaching. In line with this, EXCITE seminar enhanced not only our knowledge but also our professionalism. We are lucky to be part of this seminar. On behalf of English group, we would like to thank the organizer, facilitator and my fellow trainees. You can assure that we are going to spread and impart everything we learned here to our students.

English Impression (Batch 7)

`A pleasant afternoon, everyone!
Let me start my message by borrowing a line from Henry Brooks Adams, and I quote, “A teacher affects eternity. He can never tell where his influence stops.”
I am pretty sure that for 5 days of stay here at this totally wonderful university, we, attendees, turned into students, and all of us were greatly affected by our mentors, our coaches, and yes, I am referring to our friendly and credible speakers, who became our own teachers for a week.
Our coming here is providential. I believe that God makes things happen for a reason. We didn’t choose to be here. So, lucky us, for we were privileged to be seated next to our new-found friends from the different schools of Rizal, as we all listened and digested everything that was given us by our lecturers. And what could better this? After feeding our minds and hearts, our stomachs were also fed on time!
And just as what EXCITE means to me as it means to you, we should never forget that as teachers, we are all given a great responsibility of applying what we have gained from here when we return to our students. This is not the end of the EXCITE spirit in us, but only the beginning.
For the JAROT group of the English batch, it was nice sharing things with you. Thank you for the gift of friendship. Till we meet again.
For the ones who organized this 5-day training - the support staff, the maintenance, the canteen people, and the effectual lecturers - we salute you all! You have truly accomplished your objectives… for now, we have become EXCITED!
E – Educated, in terms of new ideas from the experts
X – X-posed to new experiences and new friends in the field
C – Confident, now that we know a lot better than before
I  – Interested, yes we are! We are now more interested to teach.
T – Talented, for we learned to be flexible when faced with
several complexities
E – Elegant, as we carry our black EXCITE bag around,
knowing that only those who attended this seminar have one
D – Developed, for we have grown wiser, better, and… bigger
Teachers, let us pay it forward to achieve ONLY WHAT IS BEST FOR RIZAL! Taas-noo, RIZALENO!
Again, a fine afternoon, everyone.

IT Impression (Batch 7)

IMPRESSION
Good afternoon to all of you!
In behalf of Batch 7 IT Intermediate Group, we would like to express our profound and heartfelt gratitude to the organizers and sponsors of this EXCITE Training, Dr. Gilberto M. Duavit with the support of Gov. Casimiro A. Ynares III and the University of Rizal System.

EXCITE Training is the given title of this seminar, so EXCITE word is the acronym that I can give to this seminar, EX as Excellent because the training staff is superb and exceptional in all aspects, C stands for Comfortable because the first day we arrived in the venue up to the last day, I felt comfortable same as the feeling of my co-group, I stands for , Interesting, Impressive and Inexpensive in the sense that we did not put out any amount from this seminar compared to other seminars that I had attended. It means free,( free snack and lunch) and most of all no registration fee . T stands for Terrific because our two lecturers/ trainers Mr. MVF (Michael V. Francisco) and Mr. LA (Lindi Alejandro) with the assistance of Ms. Sidney Bugarin are brilliant and efficient. They were able to explain and discuss well the topics that we did not know before about MS Excel and internet blogging and assist during our individual activities. We salute you for the job well done. MARAMI PO KAMING NATUTUHAN.
True indeed, that this seminar really enhances and expands our knowledge and capabilities. E is for Exciting and Enjoyable. It means that no dull moment in times of doing activities in MS Excel. Kahit na mahirap at maraming formula na dapat alamin ay nalaman at  naisagawa naming lahat. This training is also enjoyable during internet blogging session because of individual and group activities like creating our own blog, posting topics, comments, etc. wherein we can express what’s in our heart and mind.  Also, we had a time to open our facebook account.
To my co- IT Intermediate Group, may I request all of you to please stand up and let’s give a big hand to the training staff of this seminar.
We promise that when we go back to our respective schools, we will apply what we had learned in this training to our co-teachers dahil magagamit namin ito sa aming propesyon bilang guro at maging updated sa makabagong teknolohiya sa larangan ng pagtuturo. Naniniwala kami na sa pagdating pa ng mahabang panahon, ang sistema na gagawin naming pagtuturo ay sa pamamagitan ng Information Technology.
We, the IT Intermediate Group had a great and memorable moment spent in this one week training. We’re very thankful to the people behind this training at kami na naging mapalad na napili ng aming mga punongguro para sa training na ito ay siguradong madadagdagan ng panibagong trabaho subalit buong puso naming itong tatanggapin upang maiapply ang aming natutuhan sa seminar na ito. I can’t forget this training because I met another brilliant trainers and teachers from other districts and division.
Sa huli, isang pamagat ng awit ang nais kong iparating. SANA MAULIT MULI.
To all of you thank you very much.
            MABUHAY!

In behalf of Antipolo Division – Enhancement in English Grade 5, we are glad and lucky that we have the opportunity to attend this kind of seminar.  Our minds are inculcated with varied ideas that we think would be  beneficial, not only to us-teachers, but to our pupils.

The 5-day training has been a fruitful one.  We are very fortunate to have competent speakers who are always ready when questions are thrown to them.

We express our deep and heartful gratitude to the proponents of this EXCITE Programs.  Most likely to URS-Morong Campus and the speakers who made us realize that “Learning English is not only a necessity but an advantage”.

Thank you very much Mams and Sir.
